About Building Industry Association of Hawaii

The Building Industry Association of Hawaii (BIA Hawaii) is a nonprofit trade organization dedicated to advancing Hawaii’s construction and building industry. Through advocacy, education, and member engagement, BIA Hawaii supports professionals across the building spectrum—from contractors and developers to suppliers and service providers.

BIA Hawaii promotes high standards of professionalism, safety, and sustainability in the built environment. The association offers workforce development programs, including its Pre-Apprenticeship Construction Training (PACT), and hosts industry events such as the annual Home Building & Remodeling Show. As a voice for the industry, BIA Hawaii actively engages in legislative advocacy to shape policies that impact housing, development, and economic growth in the state.
